The to-be-read pile on 1/1/18
Writers read. It’s what we to do to learn both our craft and in general to avoid stagnation. My reading ranges from World War II non-fiction to cozy mysteries devoured for the sheer fun of them. Some genres I skip–romance, horror, and dark subjects like addiction and abuse.
I include book reviews so readers can see if they want to try out a popular writer–like Michael Connelly–or someone new … like several in my review section. Click here and read on.
Ah, books! I love books and reading. I happen right now to be re-reading Michael Connelly’s “Black Ice.” I’ve read all his books and he’s so good I’m going back to his first books. They were written over 20 years ago and I don’t remember them anyway! I mainly read mysteries and biographies. Always have a book open.
Such a good book to re-read, Jeannette. He is definitely a writer I like going back and rereading. You met him, right? My sister is laughing at me for reading (at the same time) Shatner’s bio of Nimoy, Rob Lowe’s 1st autobio, Goliath Must Fall bible study, and a Jenna St James cozy. Must be reading!
