Check out my totes and purses! See how carried away I got with sewing projects over the last year? What a blast! These were interesting to sew—it’s a whole other skillset from making adorable little zippered bags. I carry a tote every trip to Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Perfect for carting three pounds of coffee home from PrestoGeorge!

I made totes before I made all those zillion little bags. Fun fabrics, right?

Each tote has a firm bottom—fabric over cardboard. (Please remember to remove the cardboard before laundering. Otherwise: Yikes!) Handles are various lengths. All have a zippered outer pocket. Some have a pocket inside—not zippered.

The first bag I sold was to a ten-year-old. She looked at that bright pink bag and shyly asked her mom for it. How fun was that? I hope she’s had a blast using it since August.

Totes are great gifts—don’t you know a gal who wants one?

Oh my gosh! Purses are a ton of work! Like a ton of work! I’ll never look at any handmade purse the same way again! Whining out of the way, look how adorable these are—if I do mention it myself.
